Done at last!

A post in thequestionclub has left me in a rhyming mood,
So what I have to say will, in a poetry format, be brewed.
I have this weird affinity for rhyming,
Sometimes it can be quite trying.
Look at me go!
My real point I haven't even started to show!
It's strange that I'm tired,
But at the same time, I'm wired.
Anyway, here goes,
Though I'm starting to dose.


End of first semester,
I'm not a good tester.
My finals are over,
How I did, I'm really not sure.
Torture they were,
Simple and pure.
This week was a blur,
Winter break is my cure.
When I come back, I think I'll do better,
Try to raise my grades by a letter.
But right now I feel as light as a feather,
Because, finally, I'm free from the tether!
