Christmas trees and Christmas lights,
Sure do make some pretty sights.
Lots of presents, wrapped and signed,
Make me wonder what I’ll find.
In the morning we will see,
Some for you, and some for me.
As songs play on the radio,
I wish that it would start to snow.
A white Christmas would be nice,
Two feet or more to be precise.
Stockings hang by the fireplace,
Red and lined with fuzzy lace.
Tomorrow they’ll be full of things,
Tiny gifts each person brings.
These presents are not worth a lot,
What counts the most, though, is the thought.
To see another person smile,
Truly makes it worth my while.
Wishing lots of holiday cheer,
To everyone whom I hold dear.
And for the people I don’t know,
Seasons joys I still will show.
