Limerick #1 - Fred
There once was a poet named Fred
Who liked to hum rhymes in his head
Then one day he found
With a thought most profound
That he was a singer instead
Limerick #2
Of the liberal who for president ran
To be gay is a sin
He with uplifted chin
Said, and then fell in love with a man
--This next one (not a limerick) I actually started last semester in my statistics class (though I actually got the idea during riding), and just now got around to finishing it. It's a little odd, but I like the rhyming. :)
Tick Tock
Tick tock
Tick tock
It’s not too late
Be strong like a rock
Don’t depend on fate
Tick tock
Tick tock
No set date
One sudden shock
Ain’t chance great?
Tick tock
Tick tock
All we do is wait
Throw away the glock
No time for hate
Tick tock
Tick tock
Got yourself a date
Don’t put up a sock
‘Cause he’s not your soul mate
Tick tock
Tick tock
Too much on your plate
Stroll around the block
At an easy gait
Tick tock
